Game of thrones 8 spoilers: Jon Snow and Night king plot hole revealed

Game of Thrones is nearing its conclusion.
It won't be long before fans know who’s going to sit on the Iron Throne and unite the seven kingdoms of Westeros.

Two of the characters in with a shot of claiming the throne are Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
However, in season seven fans saw them team up and it does look as if Jon will put his backing behind Daenerys, also known as the Mother of Dragons.

Season seven saw Jon and several of his close companions come face-to-face with the Night King and his army of the dead.

It was a pretty hairy encounter and neither Jon nor Daenerys didn’t come out of it very well.
Jon found himself in yet another life-threatening battle and Daenerys lost one of her dragons, Viserion, to the Night King.

This now leaves Daenerys with just two dragons left: Drogon and Rhaegal.

However, some fans are questioning why Jon and his comrades didn’t use dragonglass against the White Walkers, which thanks to Samwell Tarly is known to be their only weakness.

Taking to Reddit to comment on the plot hole, user pbuchanan175 wrote: “My question is pertaining to dragonglass.

“During season 7 it was a continued topic but never showed up; although we kept hearing and learning more about its importance.

“We followed Sam and his findings at the citadel and it was also a big factor in Jon meeting Dany; jump to him finding the glass at Dragonstone."
The user continued: “Gendry shows up, but still no weapons were made!

“I’m guessing they will appear in season 8. Who knows. Maybe it’s how they kill the ice dragon. Thankful for any input on this,” the user finished.
There were some theories offered as to why no dragonglass weapons were made

One user replied: “Pretty sure the weapons were being made.
“Jon's company took dragonglass weapons with them north of the Wall after all.
“And they were mining a whole bunch of it to ship back to the North,” they answered.

“It's a plot device,” yet another user offered.
“Assume they're making weapons and have moved onto another plot device.”

“Also, they didn't bring Gendry back to be a weapons maker,” they added.
“Just about every scene he's in they emphasize his lineage. His smithing skills are incidental,” they finished.

WAEC UPDATE: Candidates yet to get results 2 weeks after release

Students of Lagos State public schools are yet to access their results, two weeks after the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) released results of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

A source from the Lagos State Ministry of Education, who pleaded anonymity, told The Nation that the non-release of the result, may not be unconnected to the non-completion of the payment of the examination fees by the Lagos State government. The Lagos State government pays the WASSCE fees for SS3 pupils of its public schools “Some public school students have not seen their results because the process to pay the money was incomplete. But they are working on it,” the source said. However, the Head of Public Affairs, WAEC, Demianus Ojijeogu, insisted the result had been released. “It has been released. The result is online already. You can quote me,” he said in a phone chat.

DONE DEAL! Roma keeper moving to premier league

Roma sporting director, Monchi, has confirmed that the club allowed goalkeeper Becker Alisson to speak to Liverpool, after receiving “a significant offer,” with the player undergoing a medical on Merseyside.
Speaking at the official unveiling of Justin Kluivert at Roma, Monchi said the club had reached agreement with Liverpool after evaluating the bid.
“The player’s there undergoing a medical and, if he passes that, the deal could go through
“It’s hard when you’re a sporting director — we received a significant offer for Alisson and we evaluated it.
“In the end, we took a decision and, speaking with Liverpool, we reached an agreement. It’s not that we lack ambition. We’ve only sold two players and we’ve signed 10, and we’re going to continue looking for players to make us an even bigger club,” he said.
If wrapped up, the £67 million deal will make the Brazilian the most expensive goalkeeper ever.

You have probably been hearing about (NIP) nnu income program, and if not, then maybe I should tell you some things about it.

This cool income program can make you huge cash every month.

What is the full meaning of NNU?

NNU is an acronym for Nigerian News Update. It is simply an online platform where Nigerians get the latest news updates from across the country. Just like the BBC is to the Britons – except that NNU actually pays you for reading those news. So those who don’t love politics will surely love it by all means. Who doesn’t want cash?
I have been hearing about NNU income Program for some time but I have not been able to join. I just didn’t have the time to be commenting, sharing and posting everyday but I decided to join few days ago and I’m already enjoying the benefits. One of my reasons for joining is for the cash obviously, but also to get enlightened because NNU posts amazing topics and you get enlightened when you read them.
Especially those that have to deal with our health. One can’t be too safe.

How does NNU work?

NNU is an income program for Nigerians, probably Nigeria’s biggest at the moment. They pay you to perform tasks like commenting, daily logins, sharing sponsored posts and many others. My best part of NNU is the referral program.
Unlike other affiliate programs in Nigeria, NNU actually pays you 65.5% of anybody you refer. So cool, right? The referral will buy the (NIP) NNU income pack which is N1600.
You can use my referral link here. If you do your maths well, you will see that you earn N1000 on anybody you refer. Automatically, you are earning N10000 for 10 people. Some family members may be up to 15 and all want to join NNU with your friends and social media pals. It’s so cool. One of my friends made N130000 from this program alone.

Is NNU legit?

Of course, NNU is 100% legit. You don’t have to worry about being scammed or anything. Just buy your NARS (NNU Ad Revenue Sharing) for N1600 and be bagging cash on 27th of every month.

What is NARS?

NARS is short for NNU Ad Revenue Sharing. As you can see, NNU displays ads on their site for you. They earn a lot from these ads so they share the money with their customers. That simple.

How can I make money in NNU?

On NNU, you can make N1000 or more daily and there are about four different ways of doing that and I will teach you the trick to maximizing your NNU earnings.
Here are the four ways of making money on NNU:
1. Daily logins: Even if you don’t have the time to be promoting, sharing and commenting on posts, at least you can take 30 seconds of your time to login on your NNU account.
You earn N50 and above per login daily. Sometimes it may increase to N350. At least that’s some petty cash. Students can use it to buy course materials and more.
2. Commenting: You also earn some cash for commenting on posts on NNU. You earn N2 per comments. This means there is no limit to what you can earn for commenting on posts on NNU income program. Make sure your comments are real and not some spam my or annoying comments like “wawu, lol, cool, nice, thanks”. Give them good comments about the posts in order not to be added to the blacklist. I don’t think I need to emphasize much on the blacklist. Blacklist is never a good thing anywhere so don’t look forward to it.
3. Sharing sponsored posts: you also earn money for sharing sponsored posts on NNU. Simply login to your NNU account >>my account>>sponsored posts. At the end of each sponsored posts, the show you what to do. Follow the instructions or else your NNU account will not be credited.
4. Referring people: Most people will say “referring friends” but I say referring people. Not everyone you meet on social media are your friends even if social media claim them to be. This is the best way to make money with NNU income program. When you refer people to buy the NARS pack from your link, you automatically gain N1000 for only that person which makes 2 people equals to N2000. To maximize your profit from NNU, you can Go through any of these means I have listed below:
create a micro niche blog about NNU: For this, you don’t have to spend a lot. You just simply go to, create a blog and give it any popular keyword related to NNU. You can choose to buy domain if you want. Promote your blog on forums and social media. Easy as ABC. Your blog name can be “NNU tricks, NNU Income Program, My NNU guide, make money from NNU”. Anything you so wish.
Create social media page: If you can’t handle designing, writing articles and promoting blogs, you can as well create your own social media page about NNU. Once this is all set, you can run some ads and promote the page to Nigerians. With this, you can be bagging 45k every month on only referral.
Use twitter: Use twitter hashtags to get the attention of other people finding information about NNU on twitter.
Email: Draft a perfect email and use mail chimp to send to as many people as possible.
Facebook groups: No matter what the group is about, there is always someone who wants to earn a little extra cash. You can promote your NNU referral link on Facebook groups. Create a nice shirt piece eye-catching posts about NNU on Facebook. At the end of the post, add your referral link at the bottom. Make sure you shorten this link in order to prevent people from by passing your username. Some people are naturally wicked. Or you can ask them to inbox you.
Seminars: At seminars, you can take a short period of time to speak to a crowd about NNU. Ask the organizers to grant you some minutes to enlighten people on NNU.
Events and church services: Even at events and church services, you can promote NNU. Give them a brief detailed insight of what NNU is all about. Ask them to see after the church service for your link or information on how to sign up.
Always include your link for them to sign up.
As I discover more ways, I’ll keep updating this post. Until then keep visiting.
Disclaimer: Making money online can be risky. I am not responsible for anyway NNU may act. I only did a review based on the few experiences I have had.

Chelsea line up 3 possible replacements for Courtois

Chelsea have conceded defeat in the race to sign Becker Alisson from AS Roma. The West London side has now drawn up a three-man goalkeeper shortlist as alternatives. Chelsea are willing to let Belgium goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois join Real Madrid in a £35million deal rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer. The goalkeeper’s contract will expire next season with the Belgian unwilling to sign an extension. Alisson had been top of new manager, Maurizio Sarri’s wish list, but the Brazilian is currently at Liverpool to undergo a medical and finalise his record £66.8m transfer. Evening Standard reports that Chelsea have already moved on from the disappointment of missing out on Alisson and have a list of three goalkeepers. Black Panther: Suri is getting her own comic series (READ FULL DETAILS)

In Marvel’s massively successful “Black Panther” film released this year, one of the major surprises was how the superhero’s sister, tech genius Shuri, stole the show. Now, she is getting her own comic book series.
Marvel Comics has announced a spin-off series, to begin in October, in which Black Panther is lost on a mission to space, and Shuri is looked upon to step up to fill the void left by her big brother in their mythical home nation Wakanda.
“The world fell in love with Shuri in the movie. Now, the Black Panther’s techno-genius sister launches her own adventures,” the publisher said, confirming news first published by news site Bustle.
British-Guyanese actress Letitia Wright earned praise for her portrayal of Shuri in the smash hit film, which critics agree was a groundbreaking moment for blacks on the silver screen.
While Shuri is not the first black heroine in the Marvel universe — Storm, one of the X-Men, has been around for decades — entire books dedicated to black female characters are rare.
Female Nigerian-American sci-fi author Nnedi Okorafor will write “Shuri.” She is already working for Marvel on its “Wakanda Forever” series, which focuses on the Dora Milaje, the all-female special forces unit in the fictional nation.
According to Box Office Mojo, “Black Panther” has taken in more than $1.34 billion, making it number nine on the all-time box office list. “Avatar” is the all-time champion at nearly $2.8 billion.

Lionel Messi finally reacts to Ronaldo's Juventus move

Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, has reacted to the departure of his greatest rival, Cristiano Ronaldo from the Spanish La Liga.
Ronaldo’s 100 million euro move from Real Madrid to Juventus was announced last week while he was unveiled at the Alianz Turin yesterday. He told reporters at the press conference that he joined the Old Ladies because he was different from other players.
Ronaldo said he wants to show that he was “different” from other players of his age who move to China or Qatar for mega-money deals. The Portugal superstar also spoke on his rivalry with Messi after completing his move to the Italian champions.
Asked about his rivalry with Messi, Ronaldo replied, “I do not see other players as rivals, that’s not who I am. “It was a good challenge with Messi. All of you liked it and it was interesting. “But I never saw it as a rivalry. You always want to give it you’re all for your team.”
Speaking on Ronaldo’s departure from the league, Messi, who refused to join his national teammates to Argentina but headed back to Barcelona after the World Cup, told reporters, “I wish him well. “Italy is fine. Juventus have always been in Europe, with great players.
“He did a lot for Real. But I think it was his personal decision to leave. He [Ronaldo] brought a lot to the game in Spain. He’s a great player.” Asked about the rivalry between him and Ronaldo, Messi added, “The media create those rivalries. I give my best for my team, so did he for Real.”

Liverpool start has been ruled out for a yera due to injury in Champions league

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been ruled out for a year, after his horrific injury which he sustained after going for a tackle during the first leg of Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final.
It has now been reported that every major ligament in his right knee was damaged, including the cruciate, medial and lateral collateral ligament. Luckily for him, there was no impact to his cartilage nor were any of his bones broken.
The midfielder was operated upon 8 days later, and was privately told he would need at least 12 months in the sidelines for a full recovery but the player himself decided against revealing the news, so as not to distract his team’s push to win the Champions League. Initially, the report said the former Arsenal Midfielder would be back playing by November.
It has now been revealed that he would spend at least a year rehabilitating and that could potentially mean the midfielder will miss the totality of the 2018/2019 season.
Making the announcement, his manager, Klopp said : ‘We have known this from pretty much the day after he got the injury and after the successful surgery, we were sure of it.‘I hope everyone treats this information responsibly. There has been no change, no setback – it’s exactly on the schedule we expected and planned for. The new information is that we’re now giving more detail publicly.
The early stages of his rehabilitation have gone smoothly and the operation was a complete success.

'I've been a prisoner of my own challenge' - Wenger concedes 22 years at Arsenal was a mistake

The Frenchman enjoyed plenty of highs during his time in north London, but admits that he probably should have looked to take on another challenge
Arsene Wenger concedes that spending 22 years in charge of Arsenal was a mistake, with the Frenchman feeling as though he became “a prisoner of my own challenges”.
Having worked so hard to rebuild the Gunners in his image, the long-serving coach found it difficult to sever ties with the club.
There were plenty of opportunities for him to walk away, with Real Madrid and England having made several attempts to secure the services of a proven performer.

Wenger also faced fan protests towards the end of his reign, but he eventually departed on his own terms at the end of the 2017-18 season.
The 68-year-old admits that he should have probably made a fresh start some time ago, rather than clinging on in north London, but his passion for a high-profile job kept him coming back for more.

Wenger told RTL when asked to pick out the biggest mistake of his career: “Perhaps staying at the same club for 22 years.
“I’m someone who likes to move around a lot, but I also like a challenge. I've been a prisoner of my own challenge at times.”
Wenger guided Arsenal to three Premier League titles, with his iconic ‘Invincibles’ side of 2003-04 negotiating an entire English top-flight campaign unbeaten.
He also reached the 2006 Champions League final, but saw European dreams crumble as a succession of last-16 exits were followed by two finishes outside of the top four in England.
FA Cup success helped to paper over the cracks at times, with Wenger leaving north London with seven winners’ medals from that competition.
He is yet to take on a new role ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, with the latest reports suggesting that a man who left Nagoya Grampus Eight to take the reins at Arsenal in 1996 could soon be heading back to Japan.

The Belgium international has two years remaining on his current contract at the West London club and has not yet committed to a new deal.
According to Transfermarketweb, Hazard has reportedly agreed to sign for Barca and will move in a £80million deal.

Hazard is currently at the 2018 World Cup in Russia with his country’s national team, Belgium where they will fight for the third-place playoff against England on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old had publicly stated that he will not rule out a move away from Chelsea.

The forward had also called on Chelsea owner, Roma Abramovich to sign new players that can win the Premier League and Champions League next season before he will make his decision on whether to extend his stay at the Stamford Bridge or not.
Asked about the progress over a new deal at Chelsea, Hazard told reporters: “I’m waiting for new players next season. We’ll see.

“I want good players because I want to win the Premier League next season.
“Yeah, [I have to think about] a lot of things, and then we will see. That’s why I’m taking my time. It’s something big.”

He added: “I need two more trophies: Champions League and FA Cup. I think, to play Champions League next season is important. To win trophies also.

The report claimed that Sarri will be announced as the new Chelsea manager within the next 48 hours.
Zola scored 59 league goals for Chelsea across seven seasons between 1996 and 2003.

Breaking News! Shaqiri joins Liverpool

Liverpool have signed Switzerland forward Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City, after triggering his £13.5m release clause.

The 26-year-old joined the Potters from Inter Milan in August 2015 for a club record fee of £12m.
He was Stoke’s top scorer last season with eight goals as they were relegated from the Premier League.

Shaqiri scored against Serbia at the World Cup as Switzerland reached the last 16, where they lost to Sweden.

In June, he was reported as saying he wanted to leave Stoke and sign for a Premier League club.
Liverpool have already strengthened their squad this summer with the £39m signing of Monaco midfielder Fabinho, and the arrival of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig.

Transfer News! Shaqiri arrives Liverpool for medical

Shaqirir signs for Liverpool

Xherdan Shaqiri has cut short his holiday and has arrived on Merseyside ready for a Liverpool medical, Sky Sports News understands.

Stoke have accepted a bid of just over £13.5m after Liverpool met the release clause valuation in Shaqiri’s contract. The Swiss midfielder said it was “no secret” he wished to leave Stoke following their relegation from the Premier League. His last-minute winner against Serbia sent Switzerland through to the World Cup round of 16 before their campaign drew to a close with a defeat to Sweden. Following Stoke’s relegation, Xherdan Shaqiri looks to be on the move, so we’ve taken a look at some of his best moments from last season. Shaqiri joined Stoke in 2015 from Inter Milan before going on to make 84 league appearances for the club.

He has two years left on his current deal at the bet365 Stadium. Midfielders Fabinho and Naby Keita have already become Liverpool players this summer, but manager Jurgen Klopp has been on the hunt for a more creative, direct replacement for Philippe Coutinho. Klopp appeared set to sign Lyon’s Nabil Fekir before the World Cup but Lyon released a statement earlier last month announcing they had ended negotiations.

The basket was bought minutes after the birth announcement was made,’ reported the publication according to a source.
‘The requirements for the basket were to “make it as girly as possible”, and was stuffed with some of the store’s most sought-after products including luxury seasonal clothes, an assortment of dolls and stuffed animals and, of course, a sterling silver rattle’.

According to the insider, Nicki’s basket has already been shipped express post to her fellow rapper’s Atlanta home, and should arrive by end of day.
Nicki’s kind gesture comes after Cardi announced on Wednesday morning that she had given birth to her daughter, naming her Kulture Kiari Cephus

Nigerian mentality in education: How it's slowly destroying our youths #NaijafalconNaijaYouthDevelopment

The Nigerian mentality is actually a very dangerous thing. It is exhibited by most of Nigerian parents and that's what makes them "typical Nigerian parents".

However, some youths have also been exhibiting this trait and it's more of a setback for the nation than it is a way forward.

I got inspired to write this post through the wema bank seminar I attended for the student of the faculty of science, Unilag (which I happened to be among). The CEO of wema bank spoke to us and gave some of the key points most Nigerian parents don't actually give to their children.

Before we dive further, let me take you through a very brief history of how he got to where he is today (MD/CEO, WEMA BANK).

He graduated from secondary school as a division 1 student (distinction). He grew up with his uncle in Lagos who happened to sponsor his education. He was aspiring to study pharmacy in The University of Lagos. He tried first time and didn't get admission, second time same thing happened.

Third time, he was not admitted for pharmacy but he had the option to study biochemistry. Due to some reasons, he couldn't study it and his only option was chemistry science.

He took up the admission but wasn't happy in his first year because that wasn't his choice (because of the mentality around science courses). In Nigeria, people believe that engineering courses and medical courses are the best for any science student.

As such, most parents force their children into these fields, not caring about the potential the child carries. Well, he later graduated as a second class upper student (2.1).

He went further to do chemical engineering in as a postgraduate course in same UNILAG and wanted to work alongside his brother but was advised to go into accounting. He took ICAN an passed on first attempt.

He applied as the general assistant manager of a company but was given the post of an analyst. Gradually, with his hardwork, he rose to the general assistant manager and later moved to Skye bank where he held a very important role.

From Skye bank, he became the CEO of wema bank and gave them their place among the Africa's best banks. Wema bank is the first ever fully digital bank in Africa and this was achieved under his leadership.

Enough of the whole story Dada.
Do you know the beautiful thing? Someone asked him a question saying: "What do you regret not doing in the university". His reply was a little bit shocking. He replied: "Not starting my own business".

For someone of his profile and achievement, you shouldn't be bothered about why you didn't make money in University, but he was.

Businesses don't generally mean selling products, services are also businesses. If you have have a talent or potential, try to develop that. All the richest men in the world are as a product of initiative and talent.

So many people have fallen due to studying the wrong courses. If all Nigerians are doctors, lawyers, accountants and engineers, who will be the surveyors, artists, forensics, entertainers, bloggers, geeks, footballer and most especially - teachers.

Parents should learn to identify the potential of a child before advising them to study a course. They push youths to study courses they are not interested in and end up becoming job seekers. Yet, we blame the government for not providing enough jobs.
Why can't we blame the parents for not providing enough minds.
Let the youths also learn to voice out their thoughts and be independent.
It is better to live a happy life doing what you love than to be filthy rich doing what you hate.

Talents should not be wasted. Instead, they should be trained. If Nigerians want to compete among the top countries, it has to start from the youths. Doctors, lawyers, engineers and accountants will work with governments and institutions...they earn salary and are at risk of getting sacked anytime.

But self made men own their businesses, they dictate how their lives will be run. They have the potential to compete among the big names because they earn with what they enjoy doing most. If a child doesn't want to be a doctor, he shouldn't be forced to do so. Let's learn to train them and give them the right knowledge but education is equally important.

The only difference between a mechanic and a mechanical engineer is a laminated paper. This is the usefulness of education. It helps you to stand firm and defend yourself, it doesn't dictate how you love your life, how much you earn or how happy you will be.

Let's learn right. #NaijafalconNaijaYouthDevelopment

10 things you must never say to a guy over text

Relationships today are largely done over Whatsapp and chat and it’s pretty darn convenient too. However, no amount of emoticons can ever be a substitute for the real deal. Which is why, there are some things you do not want to be telling a guy over text, just to prevent complications or in some cases, because it’s the decent thing to do. Here are ten such texts that you must never send to a guy.

1. “We need to talk.”
If you send these words to a man, then you might as well have sent him a text saying “It’s over”, because that’s what he is most likely to be thinking. Even if he doesn’t think that this is what you meant by it, “We need to talk” sounds urgent and official. It sounds like, whatever the topic of the conversation is going to be, it’s certainly not going to be pleasant.

2.”My period is late.”
Do NOT send the “I’m late…” text. This is not a text message conversation! Having a late period is a big deal and you do not want to have this discussion over SMS.

3.”Do you really love me?”
You really shouldn’t ever send a text like this, because this does sound clingy and desperate. Guys do like their space sometimes and they hate the thought of being pushed into saying things. If he loves you, he’ll tell you when he’s ready, and he probably won’t do it by text.

4.”It’s over.”
Breaking up with someone via a text is one of the big no-nos of texting etiquette. If he’s not expecting it, then hearing the news is going to be bad enough, without it coming in the form of a cold and blunt text.

5.”What have you been up to?”
This text is going to reek of two possible things. Either you are desperate to see him again or you don’t trust him! “How was your day?”, would be a far better way to find out what he’s been doing recently and it won’t have him thinking that you are checking up on him.

6. “I see you.”! Even if you spot your crush from across the mall, do not ever send an “I see you” text! It is too weird.

7. “Are you ignoring me?”
If he’s been ignoring you, he’s not going to respond. And you’re not doing yourself a favour by asking if he’s ignoring you because he’s still not going to respond. Just let it be.

8. “I love you.” (for the first time)
Don’t you dare break out the L word for the first time in a text! Love deserves a face to face conversation.

9. Screenshots of past conversations
Sending him a screenshot of a past conversation may seem like a good idea to prove your point at that time. But if they’ve already been resolved, then you’re only raking up unnecessary issues and adding fuel to the fire.

10. Sarcastic messages
Sarcasm isn’t easily understood even when the recipient is sitting in front of you. To expect a guy to understand it over text where he can’t make out if you are joking or serious is a little over the top. It’s a situation ripe for misunderstanding.

"You shall see no other colors except green" - Nigerians blast world cup referee on instagram

The 2018 world cup will forever be a memorable one in the hearts of the most populous black nation, Nigeria as they were eliminated from the tournament by Argentina.

Lionel Messi put a lead in the first half but was leveled by Victor Moses’ superb penalty.

During the game, Nigerian team saw a clear penalty which was not awarded by the referee even after watching the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

The story could have been a different one if the penalty was awarded but the match ended 2-1 in favor of Argentina after a brilliant strike from the Man Utd defender, R’ojo which saw Nigerian backing out of the tournament.

Nigerians worldwide however felt cheated and they storm the social media to express their anger and lucky enough they were able to fish out his Instagram account where we have been seeing many insulting and derogatory comments by the angered football fans.
See comments below:

Maradonna collapses world cup match against Nigeria

Legendary Argentine footballer Diego Maradona has been rushed to hospital after collapsing following Argentina's dramatic 2-1 victory over the Super Eagles.
According to the Sun Newspaper, a Fleet Street publication, the renowned soccer maestro found difficulties standing up all by himself from his seat and had to be assisted.
Bodyguards and friends picked him up and took him to a car that rushed him to hospital.
Maradona was in high spirits in the lead up to the crucial fixture for Argentina.
The incident has sparked fears about the health of Maradona who has long battled drug addiction.
Here is what Garissa residents have had to say about the development:
''He flashed a middle finger at Nigerians. Allah has punished him,'' Abdi Bole said.
''I hope he recovers from that,'' Sudi Abad said.
''I have no sympathy for him. He is a racist. Did you see what he did after Argentina scored?'' Habiba Mohamed said.
''The man should repent his sins. His attitude is disgusting,'' Balawe Abdihakim opined.

How Nigeria will handle Argentina

Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, has said the team is now focused on their final Group D fixture against Argentina.

Mikel Obi, speaking to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) official website on Saturday, stated that the team has to be well set up to handle the Lionel Messi-led team.

“We thank Nigerians from all over the world for their support. Their faith in us and their belief in our ability have continued to propel us.

“We will set up very well against Argentina to get a result,” the Tianjin Teda midfielder said.

Mikel Obi added that the team has now put the victory over Iceland behind them and focus is now on Argentina
“We have celebrated the win yesterday but today is another day and the focus is on Argentina. That is the only thing on our minds now.

“It is important that we keep the focus and plan our strategy quite well,” he added.
